OUR STORY

Pastor Glenn and Patricia Barling were married here in the TriCities in 1982. After raising their family and attending The City of Habitation Richland (formerly Calvary Church and Island View Worship Center) they returned home after many years to help shepherd the City of Habitation family. Glenn’s relationship with Jesus began when he was born again in 1971 during the Jesus movement is California. He was baptized in the Holy Spirit in August of 1987. After his family moved to several States to serve in ministry, Glenn and Patricia returned to the Richland church in July of 2020. After a few years of assisting pastor Dan and Shirley Keller, the Holy Spirit led the church to call Glenn as senior pastor in February of 2025. Glenn served under founding pastors Roy and Dee Roberts for 8 years during the 1990's where the City of Habitation vision was birthed. Glenn and Patricia are parents to 3 amazing children, and 9 wonderful grandchildren. With a passion for "child-like faith" a posture of "humble hearts" and a "hunger for His righteousness" Glenn and Patricia are completely dependent on God's amazing provision to shepherd this wonderful body.
